Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine -
natural health care for body and spirit

Three decades of clinical practice and over twenty years as a professor at the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine has affirmed for me that health is more than the absence of illness; it is the light generated by the natural harmony within.

As a physician of natural medicine, I seek to understand each patient's health concern from both a traditional Chinese and Western allopathic medical perspective.  This allows me to provide the most effective natural approach for your specific health care needs.  I endeavor to treat the underlying cause of your concern using acupuncture, herbal medicine, supplements, diet, and lifestyle counseling. I will always seek to understand your health concern in the context of your life.

In my practice I embrace these ideas:
-to identify and treat the root cause of illness,
-to treat body, mind and spirit,
-to teach patients ways of improving and maintaining good health,
-to serve as an honest resource for my patients in their health care choices,
-to enliven the healing power of Mother Nature,
-to enhance one's connection to the spiritual essence within, and
-to practice love and compassion.

Our physical well being is a composite of the health of our body, mind, emotions, and spirit. To neglect any of these components is a missed opportunity for the physician.
